President Su Zimeng analyzed and predicted the economic operation characteristics and current situation faced by China's construction machinery industry since the beginning of this year in his report. He pointed out that since 2024, the construction machinery industry has overcome difficulties and made great efforts, and the overall economic operation throughout the year has shown a trend of stabilization and recovery, with steady progress.
President Su Zimeng stated that in the face of the long-term positive trend of China's economy and changes in the future international economic and trade environment, the construction machinery industry should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deeply study and implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, comprehensively implement the new development concept, firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development, seize the new opportunities brought by the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, develop new quality productive forces according to local conditions, actively participate in global industrial division of labor and cooperation, accelerate the improvement of enterprise profitability, and enhance market competitiveness with advanced technology, highly reliable products, and thoughtful services.
President Su Zimeng pointed out that at present, the whole industry should earnestly implement the policies and measures determined by the CPC Central Committee, accelerate to adapt to the new changes in the market environment, gather strength, really do a solid job, actively do all the work in the fourth quarter of this year, strive to achieve the development goals of the whole year of 2024, lay a good foundation for the start of 2025 and high-quality completion of the goals and tasks of the new year, and make new contributions to comprehensively promoting the construction of a powerful country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization.
Zheng Deyan, Deputy Secretary of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, introduced the economic and social development of Yantai City in his speech. He said that the development foundation of Yantai's manufacturing industry is strong, and it is taking the "chain length system" as the starting point, "service enterprises" as the foundation, "open cooperation" as the guidance, and "advanced manufacturing industry" as the guidance, systematically laying out key resource elements such as park carriers, innovation platforms, and industrial funds, and creating a vertical ecological system for the industry. Yu Hongfu, the president of the Association's subsidiary branch, delivered a speech as a co organizer. He stated that the mining machinery industry has thoroughly implemented the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the work deployment of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, actively responded to the complex and changing economic environment at home and abroad, focused on creating new quality productive forces, scientifically and reasonably coordinated the layout of domestic and foreign markets, and steadily improved its global market competitiveness.
Song Fei delivered a speech on behalf of the organizing unit. He stated that in the future, Eddie Precision will continue to focus on its main business, expand and strengthen its high-end hydraulic products, while increasing investment in accessory technology and production. Innovation will be the primary driving force, and better products and services will be used to create greater value for customers.
Huang Min analyzed the direction and path of high-quality development of mining machinery from three parts: industry review, industry outlook, and industry initiative, with the theme of "moving towards new and high-quality development".

During the meeting, Secretary General Wu Peiguo of the association presided over the election of the seventh council of the Excavation Machinery Branch. Wu Peiguo read out the "Reply on Agreeing to the Election of the Excavating Machinery Branch", and Li Hongbao reported on the "Summary of the Work of the Sixth Council of the Excavating Machinery Branch and the Proposed Work Plan of the Seventh Council". The branch's work regulations, election methods, scrutineers, and vote counters were reviewed and approved on site. The attending member units voted to elect the 7th Council of the Mining Machinery Branch.
At the election of the second session of the Council of the Industrial Internet and Data Branch, Yan Jianguo read out the Reply on Approving the Change of the Council of the Industrial Internet and Data Branch, Wang Jinxing reported the Work Summary of the First Session of the Council of the Industrial Internet and Data Branch and the Work Plan of the Second Session of the Council, and reviewed and passed the work regulations, election methods, scrutineers and vote counters of the branch on the spot. The participating member units voted to elect the second council of Industrial Internet and Data Branch.

After the election of representatives from member units, 33 enterprises including Lovol Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., Shanhe Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., and Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd. were elected as vice chairman units; 100 enterprise units including Kawasaki Precision Machinery Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., and Guizhou Zhanyang Power Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. have been elected as members of the 7th Council of the Association's Excavation Machinery Branch.
Wu Peiguo announced that Han Xiaoming, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Tianyuan Technology Group Co., Ltd., was elected as the President of the Second Council of Industrial Internet and Data Branch after the election of representatives of member units; Wang Jinxing, Deputy Secretary General of the Association, was elected Vice President and Secretary General of the Second Council of Industrial Internet and Data Branch; 11 persons in charge of Yantai Aidi Precision Machinery Co., Ltd., XCMG Hanyun Technology Co., Ltd., Caterpillar (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Equipment Leasing Branch of China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd., and Shugen Internet Co., Ltd. were elected as Vice President of the Second Council of Industrial Internet and Data Branch.
Through the election of member representatives, 54 enterprises such as Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Shanhe Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. were elected as members of the second council of Industrial Internet and Data Branch. Zhang Yufei stated that industry associations are the link between governments, research institutions, industry enterprises, and other parties. They are important platforms for promoting industry information exchange, resource sharing, and collaborative development. Tiangong Institute will continue to strongly support the work of industry associations, play a good supporting role, and empower the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry.
This year's annual conference takes "moving towards new and high-quality development" as the starting point, inviting leaders and experts from major enterprises in the industry to focus on industry hotspots, pain points, and difficulties, and explore high-quality and sustainable development directions.
